A woman has been reportedly found dead with her body found floating at the Sea Point swimming pool area in Cape Town.

In the early hours of today, lifeguards found a body of a woman floating at the sea point area according to the EWN media publication. According to the police, a death inquest case would be open soon.
An eye witness at the scene Zahid Badroodien, told the publication:
(The lifeguards) were patrolling the area at the time and immediately summoned emergency services, who are currently on the scene. There are at the moment no further details and also no further details surrounding the circumstances of the drowning.
