Most of us could live without medicine but none of us could live without water. Over half (57%) of the human body is water. If everyone living in farms and villages made tge best use of water, the amount of sickness and death (especially that of children) could probably be cut in half.
For example, correct use of water is basic both in the prevention and treatment of Diarrhea. In many cases, diarrhea is the most common cause of sicknesses and death in small children. Contaminated or unclean water is often part of the cause.
To boil water in a pot, even for one minute will kill the germs that cause diarrhea and will make the water safe.
Illness In Which Water Can Cure are listed below;
1. High Fever
High fever can be cured with the help of water by soaking your body in a cool water (not cold) or by putting cloths soaked in cool water on his chest and forehead.
2. Cough, Asthma, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Whooping Cough
You can cure all this illness by drinking a lot of water and by breathing hot water vapor (to loosen mucus).
3. Acid, Lye, Dirt, Or Irritating substance in eye
You can cure this with water by flooding the eye with cool water at once, and continue flooding with water for at least 15 minutes.
4. Constipation, Hard Stools
Drink lots of water (it can help cure such illness).
5. Cold Sores Or Fever Blisters
You can cure this by holding ice on blisters for about 1 hour at first sign.
6. Stuffed Up Nose
You can cure this by sniffing salt water. Put a little salt water in your hand and sniff it into the nose (it helps loosen mucus).
In each of the above cases (except Pneumonia) when water is used correctly, often, medicines are not needed.
