How to prepare SOya milk
Sweetener (1cup of vanilla flavor)
4litres of water
1tin of milk
Rinse and soak the soy beans for at least 10-12 hours, use a generous amount of water. Do not soak it loner than the required time to avoid fermentation.
After almost 10 hours, raise and remove the seeds. After 10 hours, you will notice that the soy beans are swollen, softer and the skin comes off easily.
Rub the soaked soy beans between your palms to separate the skin from the beans.
Pour more and watch the skin come to the surface.
When it is about to boil scoop out the foam so it does not over-flow, until when it has stopped foaming.
Add vanilla flavor and sugar to desired taste. Keep stirring and keep cooking for another 5 minutes, stirring all the time.
Turn off the heat and leave to cool down completely.
Strain again using a chiffon cloth.
Pour into a bottle, cover and keep in fridge.
