As people are calling for the prosecution of the Member of Parliament for Tema West constituency, Carlos Ahenkorah for snatching ballot paper during the Speakership election.

Private legal practitioner Nana Obiri Boahen has indicated that those calling for his arrest should stop because he cannot bust just like any ordinary person on the street.
He explained that Carlos Ahenkorah can only be arrested through due process by noticing the Speaker of Parliament and not just like what some people are calling for.

The Deputy General Secretary of the governing NPP emphasized that you can only arrest a member of parliament by informing the Speaker of Parliament by writing a notice.
