The town is known as Gujba town and it is in the Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State and it was attacked on January 9.
This comes just two days after the same Boko Haram attacked the Geidam community in the state as they caused havoc.
The report was confirmed by an eyewitness who spoke to Channels TV. The eyewitness is identified as Adamu Bura and in his submission, he said;
“They laid ambush to a military vehicle then later proceeded to the Gujba town. We have fled to the bush but we can see smoke everywhere.”
