6 HEALTHY WAYS TO MAINTAIN GOOD WEIGHT AND SHAPE.

1. Eating right: One of the easiest way to build a good body weight is by eating the right combination of food. Foods like fruit salad which is rich in vitamins and minerals and very low in caloric content, drinking water frequently, taking enough vegetables. It is also helpful to eat moderate quantity of food with good nutritional quality.

 

2. Being aware of one’s body type: Some body types inherited from parents predisposes one to obesity .The body types are endomorph , mesomorph and ectomorph namely. Endomorph are prone to obesity because they have lower Basal Metabolic Rate. Mesomorphs are midway between endomorph and ectomorphs. Ectomorph find it easier to maintain an ideal body weight. Studies have shown that a child with no obese parent has 10% chances of becoming obese, with just one parent obese the child has 40% risk of obesity but with both parents obese the risk level rises to 80%. So a good knowledge of one’s genetic background is very necessary in food selection, so as to maintain desired weight.

 

3. Avoidance of too much stress and worries: This helps to prevent one from being underweight .

 

4. Employ the service of of a good dietitian: A dietitian has a good knowledge of food and its relationship to health and the right combination of food to give you good weight.

 

5. Exercise: This helps one to burn exercise fat and keep one away from being overweight and obesed and also help one build good shape.

 

6. Being discipline: This helps one to keep to plan and be able to do all that is healthy to maintain good weight.

 

For an already obesed person returning back to shape and building good weight is a gradual process to avoid health complications.
