12 things we do wrongly everyday without even realising.
There are several things that we do wrongly continuous without even realizing them. Those things are numerous but I took time to study some of them. So those things are listed below.
1. Shaving your legs against the grain as soon as you step in the shower.
Procedure: Don’t shave as soon as you get into the shower. Wait for some minutes to let your skin and hair get wet, this will prevent continue pulling on the hair that can cause irritation to your skin.
Secondly, don’t shave against the direction of your hair growth. Even if it gives you faster and better results. Because you may injure your skin.
2. Putting eggs in cold water before you boil them
This will make your eggs to become easier to peel. Try to put the eggs in boiling water and then place them in cold water after you done with it.
3. Drinking coffee before 9:30 a.m.
We all have different body and there is a 24-hour hormonal cycle for everyone. The cortisol hormone that makes us feel awake normally gets released from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. All of us don’t need to boost our body to feel awake with other things, like milk and coffee during this period.
The best time to take coffee are between 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. And the worst or bad times are between 8 a.m. – 9 a.m, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
4. Opening canned food incorrectly
To avoid injury just place the opener as it’s shown on the top right picture so it crosses the can.
5. Leaving a loofah in the shower
Loofah sponges are good for killing bacterial species that can literally grow overnight. However, when you leave it in a moist, warm shower, it it surely makes the situation worse. So let it sit in a dry place after being used for your safety.
6. Using your fingers to turn on the faucet
To prevent your fingers from bacteria after washing your hands, try to change your routine. Try to open and close the tap with your right or left wrist as it’s shown in the picture. This is very important in this corona period.
7. Using a knife to slice cold butter
If you have always struggling with cutting cold butter, here is a best solution on how to make perfect and smooth slices. Try to use a good peeler designed for slicing and fruits and vegetables.
8. Not using vacuum to cleaning your curtains
You can use vacuum to cleaned your curtains without having to wash them every week.
9. Charging your phone without cleaning the charging port
This usually happens especially if you find that your phone doesn’t charge or charges slowly. Before you take it to the provider or buying a new cable, firstly clean the port. There’s a great chance that some of the dust or dirt is allowing things not to function correctly. Try to turn off your phone first before doing this.
10. Not letting meat or chicken rest after cooking it
We usually rush to taste a good-smelling dish, especially when we are hungry. But if you allow your meat rest for minutes after cooking it, things stay way juicier. Also let your steak rest for 5 minutes and set almost 20 minutes aside after roasting chicken.
11. Opening chips from the top
When you have a fresh bag of chips in your hands, your first thing is to open it from the top. Instead, open it from the bottom next time. This is because most of the spices and flavors are located there and when you turn the pack upside down, you are allowing these spices and flavors to spread over the chips.
12. Always using antibacterial soap every time you wash
If you always using antibacterial soap every day, you should put a stop to it. Because there’s no evidence that it’s more effective at washing than plain soaps. Antibacterial products also consist of triclosan, which is similar to antibiotics. This helps the bacteria to develop mutations that can affect people’s health.
